Parallel inverters can be installed with one or two single AC input. It is imperative, however, that the input voltage is properly assessed and wiring size. The overall rating system parallel should be sufficient to provide the chosen method of parallel operation, either in parallel or parallel redundant UPS capacity systems UPS.

It is a common practice when connecting critical applications to increase the resilience of an uninterruptible power supply, by connecting to a source of alternating current double-entry rather than relying on one. This allows the bypass and rectifier to be supplied from sources separately from which could be different sub-stations, to reduce a Single Point of failure.

With transformer based UPS which is facilitated because they are usually provided with an option to double-entry standard. The rectifier and supply of circumvention of this type of uninterruptible power supplies are independent other and can be powered from two separate sources CA.

In the case of the transformer, inverter, rectifier and bypass supplies need a common neutral connection to be within the UPS itself, which makes it a little trickier to use with a dual power input, without it installed as an option in the factory.

Parallel Uninterruptible Power Connection should not be more complicated than any other type of electrical protection systems provided few simple steps are followed and that the system is properly sized and rated.
