Portable Digital TVs - technological advances
Some time ago, we published an article entitled "Portable TV - The Achilles heel of most digital switchover. "The problem is that phones do not fit into the plans for the digital switch on the big rise in the United Kingdom from 2008 to 2012.
2 years ago there was no such thing as a portable digital TV. There were few digital TVs all types onus squarely on the decoders to convert satellite or Freeview terrestrial digital broadcasting to make them visible on your TV.
Now the climate has changed. Most televisions are selling flat screen. Most also include built in digital tuners TNT ready to receive out-of-the-box. You will also find many with built in portable televisions, DVD players slim line. The changes were deep enough.
So the answer to the question "Can I buy a digital mobile TV? "Is a resounding no," YES.
The biggest problem is that all current digital portable TVs work well when connected to a roof good antenna. For reception truly portable camping trailer or maybe things are not so easy
You'll need a good antenna. This is almost certainly means you will need a booster aerial. These electronic amplifying the signal before it reaches your TV. They can be quite large and consume more power.
Mobile DTV technology is advancing rapidly. Really television Mobile now has a similar advance in the technology of digital aerial booster. Its going to happen. But this is not quite ready.
